Comentariu public

Coin is not fully struck, and shows weakness to parts of the legends and reverse type. Additionally, it is uncertain as to whether this coin was struck whilst Caracalla was Caesar, or post-elevation. The youthful portrait indicates toward the earlier part of his reign, but whether as Caesar or not is unclear. The obverse has a die-link with CCCHBulg Vol. V Pazardzhik (2015) N° 242 where the reverse shows a bunch of grapes. - Not in Varbanov. - (W. Holt)
