Public Commentary

Das Monogramm ist ungewöhnlich für Adramyttion, dennoch wird es in der Literatur eindeutig Adramyttion zugewiesen. Zur Datierung: R. Bauslaugh (NC 150, 1990, 48) sieht eine Stempelkoppelung mit einer frühen Pergamon-Emission (Serie 6, die von Kleiner-Noe zwischen 166-160 v. Chr. datiert wird). Die mit diesem Typ verbundene Münze ist zweifelhaft und die Echtheit ist zu diskutieren.
