Coin Treasures of Western Turkey. Part II
After several successful days in the Kırklareli Museum, the next point of our exploration route was Edirne (ancient Hadrianopolis) – a city with a rich history and no less exciting numismatic collection. A significant part of this collection, as well as of the museum’s archaeological exposition, is represented by regional finds and the material from the Ainos excavations. For their immense help and cordial hospitality, we express our sincerest gratitude to the museum’s director Şahan Kırçın and its curator Merve Kaya Özel.
