CNT Extends to CN

As of the last few months, our portal has begun to offer the possibility of exploring not only Thracian coins, but also coins minted in Moesia inferior, Mysia, and the Troad. If you have not yet familiarized yourself with the new material and functionalities of our portal, you are welcome to do so now.

CNT Extends to CN As announced a year ago (see the news from July 2, 2018), we were granted three years of funding by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to publish the coins of Thrace’s neighbouring regions: the Berlin coins of Moesia inferior, Mysia, and the Troad. The coins of the Berlin collection in the Bode Museum and the plaster casts of the Academy are currently being digitized. You can browse and search the coins by region and mint or use the advanced search function of the portal. Every day new coins appear in the database, so please visit us more often! We will be happy to receive your feedback!
