Upcoming International Numismatic Conference in Milan

Αn international numismatic conference entitled “Monete frazionate. Aspetti economici, questioni cronologiche, quadri regionali” will take place in Milan in September 2019.

Organised by Prof. Claudia Perassi and Prof. Giacomo Pardini, this scholarly meeting will be hosted by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. “The Conference is focused on a particular category of coins, those that were deliberately cut into two or more portions while in circulation, so as to create two or more coins, in periods of insufficient supply by mints of smaller value coins.”
