Nach Birley 1988, S.160f. schwankte das Praenomen Getas bis 205 n. Chr. zwischen Lucius und Publius. Erst ab 205 n. Chr. blieb es konstant bei Publius. Die Datierung der Münzprägung Getas als Caesar orientiert sich an der Form des Praenomen, wobei natürlich zu berücksichtigen ist, dass der Namenswandel in der Provinzialprägung unter Umständen nicht immer Berücksichtigung fand.
