CfP: Traditions and Innovations in Numismatics

The third edition of the international conference “BULGARIAN NUMISMATIC READINGS” will take place in Plovdiv between 25 and 27 June 2026. The Call for Paper has been extended until December 20.

The Regional Archaeological Museum in Plovdiv will host the scientific forum.
The conference will be held under the title “Traditions and Innovations in Numismatics” and will focus on numismatics as a source of information about the history of economics, trade, finance, and cultural memory in Southeast Europe from Antiquity to the Ottoman period, combining traditional and innovative approaches to scientific research. The program will include three working days during which Bulgarian and foreign specialists in the fields of numismatics, archaeology, art history, and cultural anthropology will be able to present their new observations.
