Congratulations on the new CHANGE project

New project positions at the Münzkabinett Berlin will be available from September 1, 2020. The aim of this subproject is to record in the interactive catalogue of the Münzkabinett (ikmk.smb.museum) approx. 12,000 coins minted in Asia Minor prior to the Roman domination.

The press release of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin states: “The European Union has supported a joint research project by the University of Oxford, the British Museum in London and the Berliner Münzkabinett with c. € 2 mio. The aim of the five-year project is a type catalogue of pre-Roman coinage in Asia Minor that will be digitally accessible”. We sincerely congratulate our partners and colleagues and wish the project every success.
