Cult & Religion in Ancient Thrace

A new project on cult and religion in ancient Thrace is being launched at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. An EU-funded international numismatic seminar series will take place in May / June.

Due to the abiding pandemic, this will now take place online. New participants are welcome. The first lecture will take place on Sunday, May 10th, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. UTC (1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. CEST). Dr. Valentina Grigorova Gencheva and Prof. Dr. sc. Ilya Prokopov will talk about "First exchanges, money and weight standards on the territory of modern-day Bulgaria".
