IN.IDEA Graph Framework released
For our iconographic thesaurus, which is currently under development, we require a high-performance architecture capable of handling a wide range of complex iconographic descriptions. Furthermore, to address the challenge of interpretative uncertainty, we decided to create a custom-built solution. IN.IDEA (Imagines Nummorum: Iconographical Definitional Epistemological Architecture) is open-source software based on established Neo4j property graph technology and features a modular design. Its abstract core can be easily expanded with modules for specific material groups — such as vases, in addition to coins.
We invite the community to explore IN.IDEA and welcome anyone interested to contact us directly.
